These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of TapeLogic’s mobile apps, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are

TapeLogic (“TapeLogic,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides audio transcription, transcript organization, and related AI-assisted features.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
By using TapeLogic, you represent that you can legally enter into this agreement.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate account information
  • maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • all activity under your account

You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity
  • violate privacy, consent, or recording laws applicable to your location
  • attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the Service
  • bypass usage limits, billing controls, or security protections
  • upload or process content you do not have rights to use

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

5. Recording and Legal Compliance

You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding recording, notice, and consent in your jurisdiction.
TapeLogic does not provide legal advice and is not responsible for your compliance obligations.

6. AI and Transcription Output

Transcriptions and summaries are generated automatically and may contain errors.
You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them for legal, financial, medical, or other high-stakes decisions.

7. Subscriptions, Top-Ups, and Billing

TapeLogic may offer paid plans and top-ups.

  • Billing is processed through Apple App Store or Google Play (as applicable).
  • Subscription renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment methods are governed by the store provider’s terms and policies.
  • Access to paid features depends on active entitlements and available usage.
  • Deleting transcripts does not automatically refund or restore consumed usage.

8. Service Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including during alpha/beta stages.
We may also impose or update limits to protect reliability, security, and cost controls.

9. Intellectual Property

TapeLogic and its branding, software, and service content (excluding user content) are owned by TapeLogic or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

10. Your Content

You retain rights to content you submit, subject to rights required for us to operate the Service (such as processing, storage, syncing, and display within your account).

11. Termination

You may stop using TapeLogic at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations, abuse, legal requirements, or security risk.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TapeLogic will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from use of the Service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of your operating jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by consumer protection law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
